Star Crossed online registration opens

Registration opened today for the popular twilight Star Crossed cyclocross race Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Marymoor Velodrome in Redmond, Wash.

Star Crossed was the nation’s first twilight cyclocross race, dating back to 2002. Now it marks the beginning the U.S. cyclocross season as the first stop on the 2009 North American Cyclocross Trophy.

The UCI-ranked event takes place under the lights at King County’s Marymoor Park on a fast and spectator-friendly course. The festival atmosphere features great racing, DJ spun tunes, a Deschutes Brewery beer garden and Cascade Bicycle Studio door prizes, according to the event website.
